Scottsdale is always a great way to end the season. Great weather, great cars and great people!

Thursday was the shop tour run with stops like Hot Rods By Dean, So-Cal AZ, Squeeg's and more.

All three days of the event saw perfect weather and the cars and swap were right on!

On Saturday night the Industrial Chassis party was the place to be (see my other post for more party pics).

This was $4000 by Sunday. A pretty good deal.




I bought another set of these weird looking old brakes. This time I had to pay $400 for the set. I didn't get 100 yards before I sold them for $450 to some sucker. $50 for two minutes of work ain't bad!

 

i9 wanted to drive my car to this so bad!!! grrr no money!!!!

 

$4500...a steal! It had a supercharged Corvair engine.

Scottsdale was pretty lame. These are about all I found that were COOLAMUNDO!

 

Great stuff Kirk! You do an incredible job. It's tough to get good pictures with so many people around. Like this guy, what's he studying?? I'll bet you were standing there with the camera to your face for like 3 minutes, waiting for him to move. But no, he's staring at that fender! What could be so interesting?

 

I agree with Fonzy... Just because you can, means you should!

 

Thanks! I actually DO think that all the time. It's weird, people will stare in one spot for like two minutes - not scanning with their eyes, nothing - just staring at one point in space. Usually just long enough so as to walk away right as the next one walks into the frame. It can get pretty frustrating, then I just think about how rad my job is.

Kirk I'm bummed you didn't get a shot of me dragging my bumper off at the awards ceremony! I was way excited to be up there and couldn't help but freak all the grey-hairs out with a little bumper dragging.
