    Well,
I needed lights for the chevy. I had aset of prop spinners I bought from a swapmeet, and 2 badly beat unity spot lights. Here is what I came up with.

It looks good on the bike, but I wanted the cone look. i was stoked that the spinners fit with the unity light.

mis-proportioned? Really. I went through a lot of truouble to build the 3/4 scale grill shell, with matching scaled body. I cut the body into 142 pieces to get it shrunk down, and the grill i had to make from scratch. The lights are almost exactly 3/4 scale to a set of blcs. I am wondering if you think they are still to big, or are they now to small. I like them, so I am just curious as to what you are refering.

  9. I thought that W motor looked on the large side. Fanstasic work.

The headlamps are pretty cool, but no one would ever know they're not just some stock headlamp from something.
I'm not a fan of these cars built to look like kids toys for sale at the 7-11 checkout counter, forget their names, but I do like the headlamps.

i dont think its a "toy" styled car. heres a few profile pics of it to give a little better look.I wanted the lights to look like a factory piece.

  13. Wow, nice job on the lights. The tilt body that you put together is killer too. Good job on making something different and at the same time well crafted.

that car is in a class by itself. and it does not look cartoony to me. it looks like mean as hell. id be just a tad worried if we lined up against each other. the overall picture of that car just says dont fuc- with me.btw, those headlites, good work. i like them.

  15. Hey it's good to be different, bet no one ever thought of using spots for headlamps.

I meant it has some cartoony proportions NOT in a bad way. I've seen this car in person and it SCREAMS "LETS RACE"!

    Thanks,
I was starting to think I really had taken it a lil over the edge. Im glad that not everyone lumps it in with the cartoony, crap out there. I wanted a bit of a comical look without goin to the ratrod skool of kool.

First off, beautiful car. The work you did is definately worthy of respect. I can almost see what castanonkustom is talking about though. I don't think it's the lights, I think it's how they're mounted. It looks a little sparse, like they might be out too far, or the stalk holding them is a little on the thin side or something.

Hell it could just be the pic, my glass eye combined with my crooked one, combined with my third one which is and evil eye....

Nothin' to lose sleep over man, killer ride.

  28. That would depend on what kind of plane the spinner came off of. Some are huge .. some are little bitty ...
