Hurst Super Cushion question.

Has anyone run these on an actual drag car?
I am getting really close, now, on my Effie, and I have a donated pair of Hoosier radial cased slicks, not drag radials, but a regular slick, and I would like to run them since I have them and they were F.O.C!...

So...I guess I need a radial up front, too, but, they just don't make ones that look right, and are bigger sizes, that I've seen, except the Super Cushion...

The problem is, I am not real comfortable with the idea of a re-cap at 110/120 mph!

Should I be worried? Has tire tech far surpassed my old superstitions?
Anyone run these?

Or should I just ditch my freebie slicks, and go tire shopping for all four corners?
