    Days are getting shorter and evenings are getting longer. Soon going to be time for Movie Fest weekend. Need to start looking now for some older all time favorites involving rum running, bank robbery, car chases...etc.

    There's lots I have only seen bits & pieces of and never did get the name.

    So what's you're favorites. old or new !!!

    Bad Georgia Road! The only good character in the whole movie happens to be a 70 road runner!

    "Dirty Mary & Crazy Larry" (or was it the other way around?)
    "Vanishing Point" (the original)
    "Used Cars"
    and just for the sheer number of 50's & 60's cars, "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World"

    almost forgot "grindhouse: Deathproof" has a good chase at the end with a charger and a challenger.

    "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World"... that movie is funny as hell and what a cast of characters. highly recommended.



    oh yeah... lots of cars too.

    I can't believe no one mentioned Smokey and the bandit, especially since we lost Jerry this year, that and cannon ball run. They just don't make good movies like that anymore.

    Heres my list of favs:
    American Graffiti : The cars and the Milner ,not much else to say.
    More American Graffiti: Just for the Milner Fremont drag experience.
    Moon Runners: this is the movie The Dukes of Hazard is loosely based on.
    White Lighting: Bo Hopkins and Burt great chase scenes
    Smokey and the Bandit: Buford T and the Laughs
    Bikini Beach: Ivo in the Monkey costume the GBP, ShowBoat all fours smokin.
    The Lively Set: The Cars are the stars
    The Hollywood knights: great cars and great laughs!
