I am on the lookout for some old pics of 1926/27 Model T roadster hotrods from the 1940ies & 50ties, couldn't find them via search function. Who's got some, show them, please!
My first attempt at building a hotrod. I never did get it running but had a lot of fun plotting and planning. Sure wish I had that body today. This was about 1965
Cool, tons of Pics! Keep up the good work!! Any pics of streetlegal T buckets from the 40ties an 50ties? I need them for the technical supervising check here in germany to proove that a car like mine has been built before.....
The pix I posted are of a 100% street legal car, registered in the State of New York here in the States. There are no windshield wipers, no seat belts, no mufflers and no fenders. No problem. Again, it was built in 1953 but it is registered as a 1917 (since that is what the body is).
Mine is still in progress, its Tupperware, but steel bodys are hard to find here over the pond and the tupperware body cost only 350Euros. The floor: Rear axle attachment to the original 29 A frame (only stepped a bit): The engine, an original german flathead block, brandnew, never assembled before from 1963 with an Almquist intake manifold and flathead pistons as aircleaners:
A couple of early 50s T roadsters, both of these are on '32 frames do you need pics of a T on A rails?
Well, we're from Columbiana(south of you) but others have identified this track as being Shady Bowl in DeGraff,Ohio
This is a track T i rstored a few years ago. steel narroed 27 T bucket, aluminum nose hood and deck with a 296 flathead on sprint car rails, Stan............

Great pics of the Aldrich roadster...some of those I had not seen! ...and of course I love the Garrison T, always been one of my favorites! I just love these early T roadster picture threads ....makes me miss my T though
