I got a PM from Doc a little over a month ago. He bought the Silva Special and wanted it to be finished in Austin with a Fat Lucky's Interior. Kevin S drove over to the Austin Speed Shop to drop off the sedan and the clock started. This was a really tough deadline! Doc wanted a traditional interior with a Fat Lucky's twist delivered to the GoodGuys show in Ft. Worth about a month later.

To the drawing board....Ryan suggested using a bomber style bench seat. Sean came up with a design and we presented it to Doc. He said to go ahead. Turns out the seat was not going to be available to ship until a few days before the car was due.....yikes! Long story short, we had to hustle.

Fast Forward to Thursday of deadline week. I went ahead to Dallas with Como to set up our booth and meet up with Doc. Sean, Carlos and Bob worked through the night and made it up to Ft. Worth Friday evening with a finished Sedan. I think I speak for all of us in saying that it was worth every minute of lost sleep to see the look on Doc's face.
We had a great time hanging with Doc and his crew from Louisiana and it was nice to see everyone at the show.
Special thanks to Doc for the opportunity, Von Franco for the pinstriping on the Sedan, Kevin and Ryan for helping polish stainless, DJ Quik, and the Austin Speed Shop boys for all the hard work.

For god sake, It's so tasty. I mean I am sort of picking up a Kennedy Coupe vibe especially with the pockets and color of leather. I know Ryan had mentioned that he wanted to se more people with pockets on the doors and I think that it was and awesome call! The bomber seat and the Red Steering wheel are great additions. Not that I care, but would that be considered a traditional interior? It seems like it gets some influence from Italian sports cars. And when did that car get sold and why?

Everytime I see a post saying "Fat Lucky's" I am prepared to be impressed, but, Damn!, That is just a masterwork in understatement and restraint. Gorgeous as usuall Sean.

Looks like big bucks to me...with incredible attention to detal. Great work.. I know you get what you pay for however. I'm curious what a FatLucky job would cost ..ballpark..for a job like that using those materials.
