I recently picked up a set of those black out light, the one sinistercustom posted on the front page.

Does anyone know why the two sides different are different?

  2. I mounted '40 Ford car taillights in the rear fenders on my '38 Ford pickup. The shape of the fender is the same, just had to cut the holes, this would work for '38-'47 Ford pickups.

59 lenses cut to fit over the reflector. real subtle, probably wouldnt even notice it, unless you know the 62 cadi.

  13. Great thread. I've got stock Model A on my Model A - not as creative as all of these. Makes me think I need to do something better! Thanks for the thread and all of the cool photos and creative ideas.

That makes me wonder... is it cheaper to get the "Studebaker" ones, or does it not really matter?

    Just a thought.

I ran some WWII IFF lights on my Model A about 10 years ago. Recently I've seen them on some hight profile cars. They were kinda cool, or at least different.

Wife wanted a custom, didn't like the orig. 55 Buick tail lights. So here is what a 55 Buick Super looks like with 56 Chrysler New Yorker tail lights. Took quite a bit of modification to get them in, but she likes em. Car is still in the process of being built, has hood , door handles and trunk shaved. frenched headlights. Will have 455 Buick with auto trans and be quite a bit lower than this pic shows without motor and trans installed. Painting the bottom half gold soon.
