My uncle built this 48 back in the 70's out of Fremont CA. Back then it was lower, didn't have the stripping, gray int, wheelie bars or saggy diaper. It was JUS BAD!!!!

  2. Yes, you do have to cut the inner structure to get them low down on the boot / trunk lid. I,ve used some 50,s Austin A55 lights, because I had them. Same kinda size as Pontiac ones.

Actually on my POP..... I didnt have to cut the inner structure. But only cause my decklid is fiberglass..... When I move the lights to the fenders Im still gonna use the 50 pontiac lights. Im gonna, FRENCH, them into the fender.
    Thanks for the pics Rottenpop!!!

I've got a 1946 roadster buried in the garage. My dad bought it in the late 1970's, gave it to my wife a couple years ago. Runs/drives/stock. Will post photos next time it is out of garage. Has back seat, according to this a a deluxe? Thanks for posting.

  9. My brother's 61 Morris with smallblock and powerglide and after getting thrown off the local NHRA track for wheelbase infraction [only 86 inches] he began to build this 59 Anglia..life got in the way and the anglia went away..still has the 10.32 morris.

  21. Here are pics of my 57 Thames coming apart in my garage. Fabbed rear rails, S10 front stub, SBC motor/trans - TBD. Since I couldn't sell it, I figured I would make a small economical rod out of it. Looking for a parts source if anyone knows of one.

  22. Here is another early Anglia. Not mine but was at the Eddyville Nostalgia Drags this summer - all stock. It ran about 19-20 seconds in the 1/8 mile.
