Did this at Joliet last weekend. Most fun I have ever had with my clothes on! Thanks to the guys at AirRideTechnologies for sponsoring and taking these shots. Made probably 20 passes on Friday and Saturday and sure beats sitting in a lawn chair waiting for someone to look at my car:D!

  2. I watched you put that roadster thru it's paces late Friday afternoon!

Ya really had your foot in it, that was pretty cool...

That's awesome! We only saw muscle cars running on Saturday afternoon.

Have one coming up in Nov. here in central FL.Lotsa stuff going on at this
show and great fun watching an Isetta bicycling through the corners.Mostly
vintage Jags at last years and I'm thinking most decent hot rods would
spank em. Last year as long as you had lap belts they'd lend you a helmet
and let you have at it.Info and vids here:

  7. Watched you on Friday as well, most impressive!

I gotta try it next year...Chad, too!

If I read the schedule Kirk posted for 2009 correctly, it looks like there'll be drag racing, too! Lot's to do at the GG events.

    Shhhh...

Not so loud - the whiners and "cool" guys might hear you and figure out that Goodguys events are actually fun and a bargain. Then who would I argue with on here?

There was an Isetta on Friday that nearly rolled over twice!!
Goodguys events are fun and a bargain. We drove around the circle track a couple of times too, at a speed that is probably not allowed but what a ride!
Next year let's fill it with hot rods and have whole lot of fun.

Thanks for the pictures of the Isetta. I wasn't sure if anyone got him rolling over. THis was a blast and EVERYONE should do it, who cares how serious the "other" guys are. You don't worry about winning a trophy, do you? There was plenty of trophy hounds there and my california car duster was violently sliding around in the trunk - who had more fun?

Until you spin it out hard in a cloud of tire smoke, your not trying hard enough. Always lots of fun.

  26. I sold a guy a car, then he chickened out at an autocross,so I got the task of "driving it like I stole it",in front of him. What a blast!
