  1. I'm looking forward to seeing photos after you wash all the dust and dirt off. :D HRP

This was just coming about when I saw Laura's at the HAMB drags. I didn't want to jinx it by telling anyone about it :D Please be sure to tell her if she doesn't see the post. We WILL raise cain together in our roadsters on the streets of Austin ;) :D

Ok, ok, I hear ya already. You boys like the fenders! I guess they are growing on me too. It is just a few bolts, just like changing purses :D Fenders do look cool on some things, Don’s ’32 fo’ sure…

Yes, she is as solid as she looks. No real rust, just surface patina. Right now I am going to get it running, go thru the fuel system, go thru the brakes, new tires, and make sure it is safe.

I will not be putting a ’32 shell on it. Even though as a good old timer friend of mine pointed out “it is a very late ’31, almost a ’32!” :D

I was thinking along the same similar lines on tires, no smaller than 600s on the front though (ya Zach, me too :D). Probably Firestone bias plys from Coker. And I do want to do something about that too straight windshield!

PS- I like your name, I’m a bit of a Rajo girl myself! I wish they had Rajo heads for A’s—then I think I could be the Rajo Queen :D

So I’ll pencil you in to help next Thursday night. You are the closest thing to Henry we’ve got! :D

Hope so! Hang out with Chris, he seems to find a lot of old tin up that direction!

Yep, I’ll be hanging out there a lot more. I’m sure I will have LOTS of questions. I really need to read some books on these motors, have any suggestions?

Only when I flat tow roadsters with my ’53 Chevy :D

Your roadster is really an inspiration for me and without my years of reading the new and old Hop Ups NONE of this would be happening.

Every old barn is full of ‘32s and I guess now I’ll have to say ‘31s, right Thelma? :D

That’s what I keep telling myself. My arms are getting bruised from all the pinching :D

Great find, and glad to see that it went to the right keeper.

Add me to those who vote to keep the fenders.

Incredible! Yep, leave the fenders on and the model A grille shell.
I wonder if my wife would mind if I married you? You seem to have started a tidy collection of cool cars.

What the hell, Megan. How did you get into my dream, Oh, never mind. Wrong dream.
Always wanted to own a cool Pick up, Hopped up 6 in a 54 Chevy, and a Model A roadster or model T roadster with a banger motor all at the same time so I could choose my poison, so to speak. You have the best luck in finding the things that I want. Oh well, Congat's on "living my dream" any way. Keep us posted on the progress of all three. Oh, and by the way. Just how many times a day do you get propossed by car guys??

You go girl! Is that appropriate here?

Now you've crossed onto that side of the tracks. Well, actually you run right down the middle. A kustom and now a hotrod, and I know you'll do right by it. Good luck.

Well for starters, I've got the Service Manual and Owners Handbook by Clymer. You'll also need the "Green Bible". I got a couple other's I copied from Bruce Lancaster's collection. I'm sure Bruce could recommend some good ones:D

Wow! I can't believe I just saw this. I have a picture in my garage of my absolute favorite hot rod. I have no idea who owns it but it's a black full fendered model a convertible very much like yours. I think they are as good as it gets. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
