WOW! You sure know how to light up the room! That car found the perfect owner, isn't that magic how that all works out?

I'd toss a big tarp over it and spider-bomb it first. I don't like spiders.

    HAVE FUN!!!

GREAT FIND!!!! I have to agree with others. The whole patina and everything is too sweet. Gotta keep those perfect fenders. Drop it, and make that a real spicy little banger.

Great job. This car was meant to be there for you. I think you should consider leaving the fenders on,the patina on the whole car is irreplacable. Use 500/525-16 Firestone bias ply on the front ,700-16 on the rear, lower the suspension so the fenders hug the tires, slant the windshield like the picture of Rogers in this thread. People will love the departure from another hiboy. Don`t get me wrong I love highboys, you just don`t get a lot of chances to have matching patina like this.

Fenders good on that one...body is just right! Minor lowering, axle relocated to stock, done on appearance! I think it is a '31 standard with '30 grill?

Congratulations! That is a great looking roadster! I would keep the fenders and lower the stance. See you on the banger threads more?

    Dang girl.......What a great find.

Keep us posted on your progress, that's gonna definitely be a cool ride. Build yourself a tricked out banger and have a great time!!:D

  24. Congrats Megan, very cool find! I love the exhaust and the horns.

  25. Congrats! I'll cast another vote in favor of keeping the fenders. Possibly put a dropped axle to give it a little "attitude", "warm-up" that banger with some vintage speed parts, then drive the heck out of it!

Man, thats good stuff right there. Its really cool to find the car you've been looking for. I like seeing all the old stock parts on it, I think it might be harder to change it when you see all the original parts. Good luck.

I just noticed you got the late 31 indented firewall too!
