Not wanting to wish away the rest of the summer but I too am looking forward to another great Pileup weekend!

I might be bringing a newbie w/ an old chebby. Mrs. Spoons might not be going to this one, she's gonna let me go with the newbie...... We'll be there, just gotta get a leave time from the indy crew

First year for me and I was even dumb enough to volunteer.

 

i'll be there hopefully with a 59 chevy the kid shirts are cool have to get one for my boy do any day now and my daughter also...jones

 

Yep,already got a room reservation at Dad's house in St.Charles.A bunch of my club brothers,THE RELIX,will also be there.T-shirt looks great.

yeah, I had to modify it slightly. I didn't think he would mind.

Most of the hotels are full already. There are some still in the outlying towns though.

The pre and post party is at the Red Cent.

 

Well we'll miss Mrs. Spoons if she doesn't make it. I'll post up something again like we did last year as we get closer.

 

FYI, one of our vendors (Galewood Cookshack - great chili!) told me that they booked their rooms online and just called to confirm and found out that the hotel OVERBOOKED the hotel and they actually didn't have a room, so you may want to call and confirm your rooms.

 

well at least 2 roadrats from new york will be there still looking for a room but then again we bring tents just incase

ok everything is set for my wife and I to show up at the pile up. Im almost done with the truck and it'll be the first event attended beside the local Flying eyeball this last weekend.

Can we camp out at the show area? Bringing the TENT!

Looking forward to meeting some HAMBers and showing the wifey why i spend so much time on here lol.

You can camp outside the fairgrounds. There will be a portajohn out there.

 

I was looking at a map and their seems to be a few campgrounds w/ outhouse/shower house facilities real close but I can't get any info. Anyone know anything? I'll take a sleeping bag and enjoy.

 

I'll be there again this year. I have been to the Pileup every year so far, and plan on continuing the trip up there. It just gets bigger and better every year.

On another note, I've had my room booked for 7 or 8 months... but now you got me nervous. Thinking I should probably call and check.

i live in ottawa illinois which is about 20 miles away and i checked with the hotels here and they are all open if any body wants to stay there is a super 8 a hampton holiday inn and a few others
