you all do very inspiring work!
here's my '53 with '54 trim. i'm in the process of learning all the differant ways to build a car. so far i've done everything myself with a little guidance. she'll be going lower this winter, any thoughts on a good way? probably airbags, but wanted to know of any other suggestions. (stock front suspension will be staying for awhile)
    cheers

  15. Eddiesixem -> finally another four door, looks good!

this is the same way I did my front as previously posted and works good.. the drop spindles give another 2 - 2 1/2"

    http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=152076

I was told by a friend that an S10 front end "may" work as well instead of Mustang II, dunno how true that is.

For the four door I should put on the trunk lid "A few extra inches never hurt....."

Sundown, how did you do the bullnose on the hood? is that a chevy piece, it looks wider than a chevy.

[IMG][/IMG][IMG][IMG]I might as well join in, but my ride is still a project and in the thought stages. I was hoping someone could do a photoshop job on my car. Since it had the lapis blue trim on the interior, I thought a satin lapis blue on the bottom would look good with either an offwhite or silver flake top. As far as wheels go, wide whites with chrome steelies is my preference. If not 51 caddy caps or any other full wheel cap is my second choice. I think the sides should be shaved except for the door opener. I could keep the stone shields and bottom trim.

If anyone wants to do the photoshop, have at it. Please lower it if you can as well......

Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.[IMG]
