    Sits perfect, and the workmanship looks top notch. Very well done.

    What usually goes between the bumper and the bottom of the front fender? Is some sort of filler panel going in there?

    Have you checked out my "'55 Caddy build" thread...??? It started on April 10th, do a search, there's 4 installments so far...

    You using the stock park lights...??? I'm going a bit different on mine...

    Me too I think. Still trying to make up my mind. That's my blinker though...


    Caddy is sick. I can't wait til' mine is back on the road. Just ordered my overhaul kit so hopefull the motor will be back together and back in the car in 3 weeks.

    looks tight,my brother in law is drooling over it.He as the same year and wants to do the same thing,did you have to modifie the spindle\kingpin????or just a arm mods.

    I know this post has been dormant a while, but I am considering all the ways to bag my '56 Caddy and was leaning toward building a 2-link setup off of the front leaf spring mounts, similar to what you did.

    I'm concerned about the pinion angle changes and other issues with such a short linkage. Now that it's been a while since you put this together, could you please post an update on how well things have worked out and maybe some lessons-learned or things you would have done differently?
