Looking at the fenders and the body. Reminds me of the Munster Koach. Wonder if Barris build it.

Wasn't this car used in Elvis's "Clambake" movie, the one with Schneider off of "One Day at A Time"?

That thing is in the basement of the Peterson museum.

It is far underground in a concrete vault.

    Yes, it is safe.

  18. It's not ugly...it's a JOKE HOT ROD...driven by the Joker....get it?
Well it's about bat time you did

  19. That show rules! Man is that one twisty road to the Bat Cave and, amazingly, such little tire squeal outa those Bi-plys the Batmobile sports too.

Regarding the 'Hot rod,' wasn't that thing used on some aweful Sid and Marty Krofft Saturday morning abomination? The Banana Splits, maybe???

If I'm right, that's the one at the Peterson.

Also dig the early Chevy tripple duce air cleaner under the dummy Air intakes. HA! HA!

Yes those do look like surf boards, kinda the reason why I asked what was the story behind it as it probably looked pretty good before they hacked on it for the Joker's use. It's not the ZZR as it's a touring 4 door.

  23. I think the car was modified a couple of times....I might be wrong and yes it was in CLAMBAKE...where is RICHARD D our other movie guru??

Isn't that a Cadillac or Chevrolet "bat wing" air cleaner under the scoops? A high dollar piece today.
