got the car with no engine or transmission. found a 61 engine and tranny. removed the 2 barrell manifold and put a 65 on so i could put the 4 barrell manifold on. painted metallic blue and put on bellflowers.

Lowered and no bellflowers, much as I like those exhaust tips...

future plans are to bag it, spidercaps (should have in the next week), possible new interior, and fix some more of the little stuff (passenger side window motor gear isnt working, new lock on trunk). for now im driving it...

as for the bellflowers, im keeping them... i like em and thats what matters :)

now to get back to work on the 27 T coupe!

  6. Maybe trim the exhaust tips even with the bumper.

That's a real nice blue for that car...

  8. I had a 67 and loved that thing...your ride looks slick...the bellflowers are cool but would look way cooler flush with the rear bumper

Nice Lincoln! I have a '64 ragtop, but it's not HAMB friendly due to the wheels.

I like the wide whites. They'll look great with the spider caps.

I love the body all the down to wheels. But was the engine confusing to put together. Seems extra confusing.

Nice 62! Its good to see another Lincoln on the site. I've got a 56, but I've always wanted to build a kool 61-64 with suicide doors.

I think the Bellflowers would look sick if they were shorter. I love those cars, and yours is a fine example.

Nice car. Love them 60's lincolns. Shorten those tips, finish the wheels and you have a very nice ride.

I agree with others in that Bellflowers, no matter how much i love 'em, are tough to pull off on this body style. That said, what's nice is that there isnt a big pocket behind the rear tire-- so it flows nicely with the ground....

The wide whitewalls look good on yours. I have to put some thoughts on tire / hubcap combo....

Nice car and I like the pictures. I've always loved those cars and it's really cool to see them personalized like this. Keep posting updates so we can see the progress. Stick to your guns on the bellflowers. If you like 'em that's good enough for me.

Thinking about buying a 62-64 lincoln. Any warnings. I thought of finding one already restored, but it never seems to be the right combination of what i want.
