1932 Ford Pickup Body Dimensions

I've looked through the archives as best I can (not like that's saying much ) and can't seem to find what I'm looking for - does anyone know the length and width of a 1932 Ford pickup cab? Overall at the widest point in both dimensions? I'm needing to rent a trailer to pick up a cab I just bought and the smallest (and lightest and cheapest ) that I can get may be too small.

Can someone please throw a tape on their cab and give me some numbers?

I know it fits in the back of an '80 El Camino. And make sure to strap it down (don't ask how I know).


PS: get those brakes yet?

48" from back of cab to the leading edge of the firewall and around 54" wide,,,nobody here to hold the stupid end of the tape! HRP
