  1. Man that is way cool! I'd have loved to seen it with 3 side drafts personally ;)

Love the Oz six? What OD is that ? Did the trans Mt.come from down under? This makes me want to do a 62 2dr with that same setup or with a 5speed And yes i would love to see a forums section such as falcons in progress or a grage forum. Butch Evans(Falconeer) Thomasville N.C.

  3. I say start the new technical thread by reposting this.

What's the story on this? It looks like you've got a lot more going on under there than just a transmission mount. The outboard mounts are what caught my attention. On my 61 Comet there are female threads in the frame for the original transmission crossmember. The threads are mostly stripped on 2 of 4, so I need to do something to fix it sooner or later. My 60 Falcon didn't come with threads there, so ...

    Thanks,
    Kurt

  4. Caddy tail lights: I bought a hole saw at Lowes and cut the hole in the Falcon lens. Using a minimal amount of clear silicon, I gently slid in the Caddy lens and let it sit for a day.

I used both new '59 Caddy lens and new '63 Falcon lens. I've often thought about selling these as I know how to do it and already have the hole saw, but didn't think there is enough interest. I've made two sets for my car thus far.

thanks! Me too on the Webers. it can always be a later project. cost and drivability won that argument. The flat oval Cobra air cleaner will look pretty bitchin' as well, though...:D

hey, thanks for the interest. Everything under there is homegrown, and I have detailed pictures of how to build everything.
here is the thread covering other sections of the car...

That's what I mean about having all the falcon stuff in one thread. I would love to see what you guys are doing to your birds. If you didn't happen to catch the thread, you would never know it's there, even if the material in it is interesting to you. I don't know how it works as far as getting interested subscribers of this thread to find and subscribe to the new one...

  7. Give it a shot. This thread is more of a general picture thread. Start a technical Falcon and Comet thread. Interested people will find it and subscribe to it.

And, if and when the HAMB Groups become more functional, then maybe the Falcon and Comet threads could be linked/indexed there.

    Thanks,
    Kurt

You could just start another thread that just contains links to members' projects. You could name it 'Links to Falcon Builds.' People could add their links to the thread, or pm their links to the original poster...
