I can't remember whether it is in Oregon or California along US 101, but there was a small roadside type park on the East side of the road that used to have several old cars from the 60s. The cars had circular holes cut in the hoods and trees were growing abundantly through them.

  4. This one isn't exacly eating a car but it is true meaning of "shade tree mechanic"

With all the talk about the need for better theft deterrent systems, I'm thinking about marketing these. Very long installation time, but quite effective.

There's a junkyard in Moody TX with some strange trees that have just "flowed" over some parts and stuff. No pics, but really weird.

I think the car bit the tree in this one.

This was my old sedan when I first got it. We had to cut this little tree to pull it out of its "resting place". I kept the tree there for a couple weeks after I got the car on the road. People would ask me if it was real or not!

Somewhere around here I have a photo of a 48-54-ish GMC/Chevy pickup that shows up at a lot of central plains runs. It has a tree cut-off that has eaten part of the front bumper and the guy just left the pieces hanging when he put it on the street. Kind of interesting.

Chrysler '39 Limo in the bushes, we took it out but had to cut some trees first.
