Projects I was a rust haulin mofo this weekend...

I was taken to a honey hole of sleeping iron oxide projects just waiting to be discovered a couple of weeks ago...
I couldn't make up my mind which to get, struck up a deal with the gentlemen that owned it and I bought it all, and then did my level best this weekend to haul it ALL home...over 1000 miles of total hauling and 2 more trips to go this week...
the cars include:

1935 Ford 5 window coupe (chopped)

1936 Ford Cabriolet
1938 Ford 4 dr sedan
1947 Plymouth Sedan Woody
1948 Chevy coupe chopped
1970 Plymouth Roadrunner 383 car

They still got stuff that nice looking laying around outside in NY state? I still see some black paint on some of that and a fair amount too. And red wheels - you're already halfway there with some of them. Looks like a very nice find and a lot of potentially cool projects.

I never seem to get that lucky....or have enough money :-(

 

I spent the last 12 yrs or so in Nashville in the country music biz and a buddy of mine who I came up with is now a very successful writer and artist and he'd been wanting one for years since his dad sold his to his uncle and the uncle let it get away (his dad recently passed away), so I told ihm when I found one we'd build it...so I think that's what will be happening to the bird...

it's .45 more a gallon in Paducah is 3.98...
