My first time, too. Will be there Sunday - Tuesday with my son. Really looking forward to this.

 

Dad and I will be there for our first time. He is driving out from Vermont in his roadster. And I'm meeting him in Denver so we can roll onto the salt for the first time together.
He hasn't decided on rollingstock yet.

I'll be thre for sure, probably driving my Deuce Tudor. I reckon I'll be helping the Bean Bandits (mostly just staying out of the way) a lot of the time.

Looks like we'll be neighbors again this year. I'm planning on driving my roadster out and back. My new engine needs a good break-in run. The Bone's have a newer and hotter flatty for this years attempt.

Found out today that my request for the time off I put in 2 1/2 months ago was turned down!!!! I cant believe the nerve of the bastards. I told them "well you better start looking cause I am"

 

I'll be out there, with the rest of the "Bean Bandits". We are working on bringing some of the ol' timers. And we plan on having a "good" time!!!

 

Look for the pasty white, bald headed, sun burned Canadian dying in the heat. That'll be me.

jeff you just discribed half the people out there (including me) except for the word canadian. I dunno how to tell a canook just by looking at him.

 

This streamliner #1233 is one of "the ol' timers" we're bringing out! It hasn't been to speedweek in 10 years. We completely rebuilt/retrofitted it over the winter, and got a couple of "shakedowns" in at El Mirage. Now we are ready for Bonneville!
