My nieghbor has 2 of these setting out on an old building slab. Doubt if he'll ever do anything with them but maybe he has the same opinion of me and some of my projects. I'm always thinking about where to cut them when I go past his place. Your is looking good.

These 47's have some really neat/interesting parts. Lots of cool dash switches. The speedo clusters are really cool looking too. I'm putting one of the clusters in my Model A.

I have a 46 ford cab i plan to section and chop. I think more people should do sectioning but then it wouldn't be different now would it?

I also have a 1957 IH. Check out the photoshop of it i did.

This is the Bindup, I built it about 4 or 5 years ago.
I sold it off and now its come back home for a chop.
I'm in the middle of doing and angle chop on it, 5.5" out of the front and 4.5" out of the rear.
    I'll post pics up soon.

Your work is lookin good. Project sounds killer.

Hey here are some updated pictures of whats been up. got the body chop all welded back up. then i decided to chop the roof. almost done just alot of welding left. just incase you didnt know i chopped 3" out of the middle of the body. and 3" out of the roof. [IMG]body chop all welded up and door hindges relocated.

these are the chop lines i drew ,i wanted my back window to stay the same,
    [IMG]

    all cut.

it worked out nice. real nice
    [IMG]

    before i spilt the roof.

front pillars lined up and door window frame welded.

here is the body chopped and roof chopped door , next to the original sized door. .

now i just have to weld the roof up solid.

I don't have an IHC, but i do have its' brother a 47' Federal. I didn't do a section, just whacked everything out of the roof. I have the roof skin off and am working on the header and seperate hinged windshield. The roof is kinda clamped into place just so i can start to figure out how to weld it back together. How did you clamp yours?
In case you're wondering, the cowl and 'A' pillars are seperate.
I was looking for an international when i found this thing ready for the crusher, i said 'what to hell..'
Those internationals make a badass hot rod, keep the pics coming. oj

Looks great! I thought about doing that to mine, since a tree fell on the roof anyway. :(

that looks crazy man, nice and chopped eh. i just used hudge c clamp vice grips with a strip of metal under the piece i was welding in , and then a porter power in the middle to hold the roof up where i wanted it,

  30. I hope that your plan changes include running fenders too because the S10 frame is butt ugly. And I'm not just saying that to be a dick to ya. I have a 56 1/2T short box on an S10 frame so I don't have dislike for these frames, but I wouldn't run one without fenders. Yuck.
