here are a few pictures of my 31 model a, i pulled it out of my grandmas neighbors barn when we were helping him clean it out after his wife past away. It was an all original car (of course rusted in the usual places). he said i could have it as payment for my help. once i got the car home i puled the body off the frame and set a sedan body that i was originally going to build on it and sold it and thats the story of me getting my hotrod! haha

for motorvation i have a 327. my dad had a 60 el camino and when he sold the guy said we could have the motor cause he had plans for a big block. (if you are keeping track i've only made money off of this car!)

the frame and suspension is all pete and jakes

roof is filled with the top of a 59 chevy station wagon

so finally here are the pictures!

dont worry those wheels are soon being replaced with steel wheels and firestone wide whitewalls [IMG]

[IMG] here is the intake to top off the 327 (the motor in the car is just for mock up incase anyone has secret powers and could tell that its really a 283)

I wanted a four speed but I already had the powerglide so maybe when its finally on the road and i have a little money i'll get one

nice car-what a great story about the guy giving it to you for your labor in helping him clear his space out-my jaw would have hit the floor when he offered it up. what a deal!

Great find and a great job on the coupe so far.
The old guy did the right thing giving the car to you cause you're building it up very well.
Nice quiet looking street you have there-until you start making power runs with the coupe..
