That wouldn't happen to be a black volksrod parked to a shitty green pickup at the show.......If so welcome aboard from New Berlin...your neighbor...pm me, we can drink beers and educate me on bugs...
Jeff drinks beer and squashes bugz (the gooey kind)... then eats them!!! I'll drink beer and waqtch bugz hit the zapper...! Welcome Josh... is Randy going to sign in??? Stop by the garage when you can... Later!
Ya, that be me. Your truck is cool man, and I've enjoyed a june bug or two over the years Mark. Randy's not real puter savvy.............
Come on man, I want to see some pics! I dig volksrods, even if they're not as "trad" as some would like. I can't afford all the period correct parts myself, so I feel where you're coming from.
Not meaning to instigate anything but I wouldn't waste time worrying about not being "traditional". You have what you could afford or was obtainable and you made what you wanted out of it. I would hope people will agree that is "traditional" hotrodding even if the car isn't everyones first choice. Welcome from MD.
I agree, and thanks. I just wanted to make clear I'm not here to change anyones minds or opinions about VWs or anything else. I just want to cruise..................
Sweet rides. I bet that Vdub is great on gas too. I'd also bet that with todays gas prices, that Lincoln sees a lot of garage time! I like 'em both. Nice paint on the boat.
Yeah, I put 5,000 miles on the Linc last year (Power Tour, Etc.). This year will be considerably less. Not so much the gas prices, but the Linc has been done for 3 years, and the bug still has that new toy smell.
