So I am watching the movie Christine and I cant stop thinking about another movie where the car killed people. Does any one know any other movies where the car is the killer. I was thinking about a newer movie made in the late 90's maybe or early 2000's that the car was a killer and it wasn't fixed up like christine it was kind of rusted. It had a CB radio and I almost think the car talked. does any one know the name of the movie?

James Brolin starred in a flick about a car driven by the Devil;I think the movie was called "The Car".IIRC the car was a Barris custom;a Lincoln ?

    "Wheels of Terror" 1990

A newer movie about a possessed car is Black Cadillac, about a '57 Fleetwood limo (2003)

  8. Two incarnations of the same story, Maximum Overdrive and Trucks! both have vehicles driving themselves and killing people. (the funniest scene in the first one is Stephen King's cameo at the beginning when the ATM machine tells him to F--- off).

Duel, from 1971, also has a killer truck which apparently has a driver - but you never see him, either.

Remember the movie "duel" where that early semi chases the plymouth scamp? I seem to remember one movie in the 2000's where the guy owns a bunch of cadillacs and drives an early 70's eldorado trying to kill people. He was in a wheelchair and had mechanical body parts.

  11. "Knightrider" between the car and the hoff's acting im sure the two have caused more than enough folks to hurl themselves off a bridge or two!

I don't know about killing, but "My Mother the CAR" turned more stomachs than ANY other show or movie...

Another early "killer car" was in a Twilight Zone episode.
IIRC, the car was a black 56 Ford and eventually ran down it's owner.

  19. I think it was the Wraith, bad movie, fun time.

I think you have to look for everything except Christine on Beta :D. Or maybe in the $ bin at your local video store.

Sorry RichardD beat me to it.

  21. but the Wraith didnt talk , come to think of it the movie would have been better if charlie didnt either!!

  22. Maximum Overdrive, The Car, Duel, and The Cars That Ate Paris are all on DVD; I have all of them. The Wraith is coming soon. Can't find Wheels of Terror on anything but VHS; I ain't paying $40 for a movie I haven't seen, which is probably pretty shitty anyway.

Wheels of terror had a 71-74 Sattelite in it IIRC. Black cadillac I own and its about a crazed sherriff in a 57' Caddie.
