    Hey himjively,

I vend at 5-10 events a year and I use gridwalls to show my stuff...cheap easy and versatile. Here is where I get mine...

    http://www.valudisplay.com//Product/product_detail.asp?sku=0GWS2BK000000

Can't find any shots of my setup but I'll keep looking..

  7. One suggestion: your banner could use more color.

  8. A. Use the grid walls as suggested. Get the artwork vertical. Laying it flat is a sure way to get people to walk straight past your stuff.

    B. I can't work out why the vendors stand under cover while the customer has to stand out in the heat or rain. I prefer to get them undercover with my stuff (I sell rod & custom zines).

    C. Color. Your stand needs to grab people from a few car lengths away.

    D. Dress tidy (i.e. not like a complete ratbag!) and don't wear sunglasses.

  9. Dunno if its art....but here's some from Scarlett Fever 2 in San Francisco....

great show this week guys. cool sign jim. janne, love the little chevy. clysdale, way cool.

if you want your model a sedan to stand out from the rest, you could always go for the luxury/hotrod look. this one was done for michael overcash. he came up with the design. the build also includes a multi-carbed buick straight 8.

Not art but it fits with your poster. This won NSW State Title 'Concourse' in 1999.

oO - that's cool as shit! Post an introduction and tell us about yourself. That's pretty fun.

ZOmbie - WOW. That's kind of inspirational - makes me feel kind of funny in my pants. I'm ammassing Model A parts now and I'm going to look at the back half of a tudor sedan tomorrow ... that drawing gets the juices flowing.

Instead of a banner I went with a 2'X5' plexi, sprayed the background metal flake then added hand & airbrushed lettering. I hang it on the outside of the tent toward the sun, it gets noticed!.

  30. had to add some more art to get us back on the first page again
    where's everybody else?
