I'm trying to buy the back window gasket from the Steele Rubber website for this particular Olds. The problem is that I'm not sure if it's a 1949 or 1950 or what model it is. I don't even know if it matters or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Isn't that the car that was the recipient of one of the first ever HAMB chops? around 2003.. or earlier. Didn't it belong to member RodnCustom..? If it is I think the back window section was from another car.. Brian
Split windshield in the front means it's a '49. A few of the early '50 had it too till they used up the '49 parts.
yeah i think that is the first hamb chop car. i was just wondering what happened to that car the other day.
yeah it was the 1st Hambchop car. The original back window went into my car. Thats why I need the info. Thanks for the help Denise!
it is a 98,and it is indeed the 1st HAMBchop car. i believe Radshit has it now down in New Mexico. also, for those who don't know,Poorboy is the owner of the 2nd HAMBchop car.
The looong rear fenders give it away as a 98. I don't think that the 49 had the funky parking brake handle that this one has.
crazy. whatever happened to peter anyways? used to run into him here in town now and then. i think rear window was from a 50 chevy skratch would know for sure cause i think he donated it!
look at this idiot. no glasses and no protection for the dash and steering wheel with all those hot metal peices flying about. if you want to go blind that's your business.. but please lets not screw up the vintage parts. hows that gauge cluster going to look with metal shavings melted into it?
