building a 49 ford for my dad

    I like the car intake, but you don't show it in any pictures.

    Here is a little update on todays progress. we pliped the steering arm from side to side to move the arms to the front and started boxing in the cross member to house the fox bady mustang power rack .
    the front cross member is not done yet but here is some pics.

    looks like disk brakes on the front, do you know what they came off of?

    Its the fat man kit , I bought it used at the pates swap meet. it seems to use a gm metric body caliper with fat mans caliper braket and a ford rotor of some sort .

    Well guys here are some update pics of the cross member and the rack-n-pinion set up. There are also pics to show the inner tie rods after I shortened them and made a bump steer kit. Enjoy

    Today I was able to get out there and make the motor mounts . I am happy with the room i was left with.

  13. Looking at all the work you've done I half to say your a Hell of a Fabricator. Now that you've changed to front steer Rack and it's in place I have a question. Have you set the A-Frames at ride angle and turned the steering lock to lock and rolled the Chassis? How much Tire Scrub do you have at full turn?
