    A few weeks ago
fellow HAMB'r, Brent Haines "Choppa Hanne", contacted me
about doing a 2-view rendering of his first rod project.
Brent is building a '46 Ford bobber truck with a Model A pickup box.
It's his first rod and I have seen photos of what he is doing.
First rate work and a lively imagination add up to an amazing first effort.
This piece is going to hang in his shop and should provide some
    inspiration during the building process.

What you see on the doors and the box cover is Brent's
avatar, which is also a tattoo that he has.

The image with the orange background is the final rendering.
The two others are the cars separated from the rendering
    for easier viewing.

    Keep us posted Brent.
I can't wait to see it finished.

Meteor, that is kick-ass! Always look forward to these art shows. When my car is back together, perhaps I'll have to 'invest' in some art for my walls!

Meteor-- what medium are you using? How big is the original? The subject matter is actually real similar to an idea I've been sketching in my head for a while.

Gary, General, Ting -- Awesome as usual!

Haven't posted in a few weeks 'cause I've been busy.

Here is something I finished up the other night for Volksrods.com

This is the second t-shirt I've designed for them. The print is actually going to be on the back side of the shirt instead of the front in the picture.

I'm also about to go to print with my 8BA Flathead shirts. I should have them in about a week or so. They'll be $18 each incase anyone is interested.

Much more coming in the next couple o weeks!

  22. [IMG]my son found this at one of the swap meets at a car show. I'm new to airbrushing and have been using some old badgers. I love using old equipment and am not familiar with this type. I looked it up on the web and found that this brand (Binks) is still being produced. I love the old styling and bakelite looking handle. I imagine this type is better for heavier enamel sprays since it does not rely on a needle.
I know this is not a forum for airbrushers, but i was wondering what airbrushes everyone out there is using and if anyone has some kool old
equipment. I know this type of brush was around back in the 60s, but I don't know if they are older than that

  23. Some random stuff from my trip to LA & VLV...Oh, and a small part of Rt 66

I have owned and used mine for about 20 years. It does a great job spraying model cars with enamels or laquers. Does a real nice job with acrylics to. Not so great for ultra fine work. Nice find. You can still get bottles for it.

    Lotsa luck.

  29. I have a rotring, and 2 Badger airbrushes..one of the Badgers is a reet pile of crap and only good for filling large areas. the rotring I have had for 20 years and is really good and precise but getting spares is getting a bit difficult so I bought the 2nd badger a couple of years ago...it's not bad at all but as i just haven't really used it too much I haven't got too used to it.....
