This Merc belongs to a very cool lady named Kerry Keyes. Her husband Jimmy has a bitchin' 6 carbed hemi in a steel 34 Ford Coupe. Really great people. Their 2 teenage sons post on here.
Here is the beginings of my 4 door kustom. Was my first car I bought when I was 13, sold it about 10 years ago, and recently reacquired it from a friend. It is in alot worst shape then it was the last time that I saw it, so I figured it was a good reason to cut it up. The first time I had it I had planned on cutting the roof off and welding the back doors shut. But now, for sentimental reasons I am going to leave it a 4 door(that and I already have a 49 2door fleetline and a 51 Belair HT). I hope for it to be along the lines of this rendering that Janne here on the HAMB did, except for two shades of green and probably different trim.
Hi droplord I too have a 1950 4door chevrolet and i am thinking of chopping it off . The car is in poor shape too, but even worse then Your pictures . I wonder how i would do the proper alignement of the doors pillars ? Something will come out though... Keep us posted on the progress of Your car!! Knot

here is my '53 'mild, mild, mild custom' haha. Shaved some trim, lowered 2" or so all around (going another 1" in back), sucking in the bumpers 2" sometime soon, then paint and drive it till I feel another pang of 'must change something' sorry for the piss-poor quality of the photo.
