I can't post pix, but here is a list of mine. First is a 41 Deluxe Tudor sedan, second is my avatar a 41 Deluxe business coupe (chopped 2 1/2 inches), third is a 41 Super Deluxe Fordor sedan (soon to get a y-block adapted to '39 trans.

  3. This is my Grandfather & his '41 Super Deluxe Coupe. He is a true early Ford man. Kennedy, my uncle, & I all got "the bug" from him.

25 years ago he had my uncle restore this one instead of a 50K original mile '40 Fordor because he felt obligated to save the '41.... At that time, he knew no one else would give the '41 the attention he thought it deserved. He knew someone would love the '40 Fordor so he let it go.

This car will be in the family forever.

(....& yes, that is a gun rack on the mower.)

I disagree. I wouldn't take this as a guide how to chop 41-48.

I love the 41's....here's mine....[IMG]....and here's a photoshop pic of it lowered....[IMG]....I started out wanting to clone that other blue one, but ended up not chopping it so much, and slanting the "B" pillar a bit...I can't take credit for the chop, Laurie Peterson did it for me....I know the car looks bad sitting so high right now,but it'll be in the weeds soon...here's a side view so you can see the angle of the "B" pillar...[IMG]

  18. Very nice! Please show us more when you lower it!

    Great thread! I love '41's....
Saw a stock coupe in red primer in a small town near me.....been sitting there quite some time....should stop and ask about it, but I'm sure the guy's been asked alot already.....it's right there along the street.

ive always loved 41's.they make great looking customs.it seems that they are overlooked now compared to the amount that were built in the 50"S

  27. Funny! I bought 1948-49 Hudson taillights 2 month before i got the car shipped from NJ. But i think i will have them mounted the as they are originally.

I posted on here back in April when I had just bought mine, I thought I would give and updated shot of how it looks now. I've been driving it for about 3 weeks now.
