History A Story of my Hot Rod Family History

Anyone else notice all those early cars were right-hand-drive?

When/why did it change to LHD for the US?

 

How fantastic to have this kind of history in the family.

 

I'm not into hot rods, but thanks for some history about my great grandfather Lee Frayer. My grandfather, Theodore Frayer, never talked much about his dad, family, or much about anything except for the Cleveland Browns -- he spent most of the time in the basement or garage fixing/building/tinkering with things. As noted by others, the Indy500 museum has a vast collection of photos. My brother found one of Lee and his car awhile back.

Thank you for the picture Howard, I have not seen any large photos of this before.
Over the years our family has accumulated a lot of pictures and documentation; my father who is elderly is flying out to see the car in Vegas this fall, I wish that I was able to go with him.

My Grandfather is Earl Lee Frayer Jr. I have a manila envelope of his that has some research that he was doing on the Frayer automobile years ago.
