Spend the better part of the afternoon/morning pulling these pieces out of a revine i know about. with about 100 cars lots of A and T stuff this is what i came out with. headed out there with "vncduke" got lost for a bit and will die without telling anyone the location HAHHAHA... somewhere south of Eugene or"E"gon looks like crap but cant argue with free.
Well, what are you waiting for? Duct tape it together and sell it on Ebay as needing minor work to finish it.
Hey Slam Couver looks like somebodys BORED!! hey you do a stint in ARGENTIA nfld by chance!! hopeya dont mind welding LOL
You would need 100 pictures to show whats down there, Going down there with "slamcouver" today was a experience i wont soon forget..since i have many cuts from jagged rusted things. I will have to post up my treasures too, i got a mostly complete 31 Model A cowl, a nice model A cowl band, and the back part of a Model A Murray. pretty damn awesome.
"Hey Slam Couver looks like somebodys BORED!! " by no means am i bored, but i typicaly do this for therapeutic reasons after a hellish workweek. again it looks like garbage, haha but cant argue with a good adventure.
Keep an eye on that dog...looks to me like he's about to lift a leg and comment on your find! Go on with that hunt...there's nothing more fun than tracking old car parts entirely outside the normal old car world!
"there's nothing more fun than tracking old car parts entirely outside the normal old car world!"<!-- / message --><!-- sig --> couldnt agree more "That is true yard art . Prop it up and plant some sun flowers" maybe for you, but i enjoy welding.
Good scores....I've found many old car parts up around my old hometown of The Dalles, Oregon where the rain seldom falls......a lot fewer rust issues.
...can you clue us in to where you found these parts you speak of in the Dalles and what is still there?
"So your the guy that took my car! I was planning on fixing it up someday....maybe taking it Barrett Jackson next year...."
"...can you clue us in to where you found these parts you speak of in the Dalles and what is still there?" Hell i'll second that, but in PM please
The Dalles is a town about 68 miles upriver from Washugal on the Oregon side. I would guess he means somewhere within 20 miles of town. The thing is that there a lot of car nuts and hotrodders already living in the area hunting tin.
