Old Gas

I have about 10 gallons of old gas - stinky and dark amber in color

It's clear, not cloudy and has no particles in it.

Is it good for anything at all?

Degereaser?
Weed Killer?
Driveway cleaner?
Burn one pint at a time in the daily driver?
Any hilarious practical jokes?

Ideas?

 

put some absorbent in it and take to the dump as hazmat

 

firestarter

 

makes a fine sun tanning oil.

 

mix with waste oil and use to burn your spring brush pile

 

molotov cocktail maby?

 

Yep brush pile fire starter if it will burn at all. It still will stink even then.

 

Weed killer( not in the wifes flowergarden thou)

 

We use it to kill fire ants too

 

Sell it as gas with "patina".... You know someone will buy it...

That's the funniest thing I've heard today.

The thing to do would be to pour it all out, light it on fire, then throw the cat in the fire.

 

How old? I've ran some fairly old stuff O.K. in my lawnmower.

 

our it in to a styrofoam cooler.... Itll melt the cooler....light it...itll burn for quite a little while......

It will work ok as a solvent. Just be careful.

I've had mixed results with old gas. I've had plenty of times that it worked no problem. But just recently, I couldn't get my Ranchero to start after sitting for several months. Turned out to be bad gas...

along a slightly similar line, there were two guys in the news the other day who were caught by the police... one was drinking battery acid and the other guy was eating firecrackers. The police brought them in to the station and eventually one guy got let off, but the other guy got charged.

 

Pour it into your daily about a half gallon at a time with a tank of fresh stuff. Beats throwing it away at $3.45 a gallon!

Get rid of the gofers in your yard....

Somebody told me last year that his dad used to fill gofer holes with gasoline and lit it up !
He said you could see flames shooting out of every hole one by one, across the entire yard.

funny you say that road runner..I saw a dude pull this stunt once..and once was enough!
he waited a bit too long to get the match lit.
when he tossed it down the little hole. the entire back yard heaved and blew most of his lawn to smiterines..i fuckin laughed my ass off for 2 days each time i saw him out there trying to correct his screw up.

I would burn it edit (read: add it to gas tank) little by little with fresh gas.

 

I believe that styrofoam melted by gasoline is considered to be poor mans napalm.
