Cruise nite @ Big Boy on Hawthorne Bl Torrance.
1st & 3rd Weds of the month.
Hopefully No rain tomorrow Cruise on by after the HAMB cruise
@ PoMo. If you are doing the NHRA deal I rec that you arrive before 3pm. That lot gets packed.

I'll try to hit em both If I'm feeling better.

 

Anyone know of the Cruise night in Monrovia?
I Got a flier, 1st and 3rd sat of each month starting this sat(5th).
Park and ride lot just south of the 210 frwy 4-8pm

any idea how late the bob's thing will run?

Hopefully till @ least 8pm? I have been by twice, each time It was wrapping up, so I hear ya on that one
Maybe we could show em how late to stay, I think that the flyer said 5-10pm.
Ihave stayed that late both times I was there, Last car there. Lol!

Did hear about this cruise, It is supposed to be along the lines of the old Fuddruckers cruise. I'm not sure how this is going to work out hanging out in a Park & Ride, (I will say that I dig the fact that the Monrovia Depot is a back drop) May drop on by and see whats up?

 

I was gonna try and make Pomona, but with the way the weather looks, guess I'll go to Bob's. If the weather turns bad, I'm close enough to drive home with cheater slicks.

 

Me and the Mueller boys are out of town this weekend. Planning on hitten it on the 19th(if its still around).

Only 6 cars by 6 pm so I left. 5 minutes later, it started to sprinkle. Oh well, maybe next time.

Ate and hung out til 8pm. Went over Broiler report from Architecural consultant

this would be a REAL cool even to get hopping going into the summer months.
other than ruby's on fridays during the summer and caffiene cruisers on saturday mornings...there's really nothing going on. both of those deals are pretty weak unless you're a power-parking street rodder with a luxury lawn chair.

it would be a real treat to have a gathering of home built hot rods and customs along with guys who can actually discuss the build.

Wasn't bad. I was there for about an hour from 5:30- 6:30. Maybe 20 cars showed up in that time.

 

There was about 30 cars, - not bad! Saw Chili Phil scooting down PCH.
as well as 34 C-Dan and 50 Chevy C-Dan Delivery pulling out of a gas station
I'm sure it will grow in the coming months.
