KEEP CHECKING BACK FOR UPDATES!!! im finally ready to start a build, after 2 years of soaking stuff into my head reading this site, i'll try to build a low buget rolleyes model A mostly by myself, and a bit of help from my dad. i wont clutter up the board with build pics, i'll just keep updating this thread. what im starting with first work day 2-26-2008 fixing rot second work day 3-5-2008 replaced the whole panel on the right side. third work day 3-6-08 finished the passenger side of the cowl so then thought i would throw on a spare door to do a photoshop.
I guess I'm a little confused. The repair is started on the driver's side, but then the body gets primed without the repair getting done? I'm not trying to bust your chops or anything but what's going on?
well as you can see in the background, the garage is currently occupied, so i'm forced to leave my project outside, i dont want the cuts to rust, so that explains the primer. the garage will be open soon, and i can move the project in there. i'm doing everything i can that doesnt involve welding right now, because we've got a welding table with the welder on it, and it cant get past the 55 so it will have to wait until i get the garage. sorry to confuse you
just to update the project, a hamber generously gave me a great deal on parts to get this project going, and the garage is finally clear, so i'll be throwing some updates in here within the next few weeks hopefully
dont worry charlie, when i get my front end parts i'll have plenty of progress pics gonna try to go either this weekend or the next
thanks, how your roadster coming along?? oh, and yesterday i got my hinges off the doors, and today i'm gonna start making door frames. i should have pics up later on.
very cool! well, i was collecting parts and ideas for my project..no visuable progress so far. i think i´m gonna go for a closed car..don´t wanna ride it only on the warmest summer days
i know how that will be, hopefully there are some warm weeks here, i dont like it when i cant feel my face!
