The tail lights should be no mystery Custom fan shroud This is the cool part. Me and my then girlfriend put in about $20 in a raffle for this motor at a local car show.... and she won it. I paid her $40 for it. It is a '96 camaro LT1 Stroker motor. They removed the fuel injection and carbed it. This is the latest update pic of the outside. I will eventually paint the roof and bed side spears in white metal flake. I am just about done with the wiring. I am trying to get it done in time for the roundup. The gas pedal I made out of a '50's Ludwig bass drum pedal. I will post more pics as I take them, but I have become lazy with picture taking.
A very nice start. I have a good feeli'n this is going to be an other fine Kustom truck. If not one of the best. Lets see more soon.
I love these pickups, and can already tell yours will kick ass!! the green makes the cab look plastic haha
Drag'n '59, looking killer! It's great to see it's coming along. Now I have to start figuring out how the hell to get mine looking less like a rat rod (body work process).
Should have just added the pics from this thread to the first, but didn't... Here is the link to the first thread... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=241552
amazing truck! do you have any pics of the rear frame with the bed on? just curious how many of cross braces you have attached to the frame/bed. thanks
I will have some pis of the bed and rear of the frame to post soon, with all the air ride mess hooked up... The color is just a custom mix tinted primer w/ a flat clear.
Thanks, I am doing a 55 with a fleetside bed and with a notch, and relocating the gas tank to the back I am curious if the cross bars for the bed will all get used where they are intended to be used.
