Damn! That's nice. I was wondering if it was even possible to chop a fastback. Looks great.

Do you have a functioning top? I've been wanting to convert my Coupe to a vert.

No working top, I was think something along the lines of a carson top, but since I only take the car out during nice weather I'm in no rush to make one.

Good job on a difficult chop..and conversion to a hardtop..very nice car..My 48 is coming along with built 472 and Trans Am front and rear, mine does not have the chrome chevrons underneath the tailights..is that one of the differences between series 61 and 62?.....

This is just concept, not actual existing car.

    Cadillac convertible 1950
    - Chopped and slightly leaned back windshield.
    - About 2 inch longer doors than original convertible.
    - Whole rear side is straightened (the vertical hump is removed).
    - Rear fenders restyled and custom made tail lights integrated into bumper.
