is it just me or are all theses car polka dotted?

  2. Thansk for the pics, guys. I striped trophies from 9:30 to 7 on Saturday, and I never got to make it upstairs all weekend. I worked my ass of this weekend. It was worth it though because we got some great feedback on the trophies and we also won best club display. Good times.

I'd have rather been there in person but couldn't be. Any and all pictures are great.

The fact that someone actually remembered to take pictures while they were there impresses me.

    Thanks.

I have a bunch of shots of Winfield's cars. Is that guy Kobayashi on here that had the white pearl 46ish Ford? That thing was the tits. He was in front of the Kopper Kart pulling in on setup day and word on the street is that he assembled half the car in his spot and was even painting some stuff right inside. I'll post pics once I get a free minute and organize the pics, I'm still trying to catch up on my sleep.

And the nicest hot rod downstairs. Had a 4 cylinder FWD mounted in the rear. Awesome.

Then you would have missed LOTS of nicely done hot rods and customs including at least 5 HAMBer's cars that took home trophies and/or picks.;)

Yup, not all HAMBers like the same thing. :)

  25. The Extreme Autorame is definatly making it's mark, But the Detroit AutoRama is still the greatest indoor car show of it's kind.

Congrats to the HAMBers that showed upstairs as well.

We were two cars behind him in line for Cobo. While we waited to get in and looked at his car he made the quote of the weekend. "This car is straighter than a Kentucky race horse!". We checked in on him as he FINISHED his car at the show all day Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday AM and we all cheered when he won his class. Looking forward to seeing him again.

Awesome, I didn't know he won. That was probably one of the only cars upstairs (aside form our friends the the cavalcade of customs) that was a true kustom not built by a huge shop. Gotta hand it to him, the car was great.
