Well, the body is back on. It still has a way to go, but I think it looks really cool! I'm happy with the way it's turned out so far. I snapped these shots today, it was overcast, so they don't show the flake very good, but there is 24oz's of it on there!

That's gonna be the "polarizing" aspect of the car...The roof is going to be white...but we're doing a whole "tiki" themed interior. I was going to go all out with surfboards on the roof and everything, but I decided to tone it down.

I have a 60's style coupe that's gold with a white interior...It's cool, but a pain to keep clean! Plus I plan on having a couple of other cars with white interiors...so...it's gonna get old after a while! :)

Wow! That T looks awesome. How much is the chop?
    Thanks,
    Kathy

  15. Like the color, not sure about the Model 40 grille - doesn't seem 60's to me, seems more like a current fad but with paint instead of rust.

Also, what's up with the rear spring?? Looks awful close to the old scrubline . . .

that grill would look rad as shit if u cut it down a couple inches, and placed it nice and stout on the radiator,, it'd look a little bit like the druid princess.,, - just my dumb two cents

  22. Looking good, but I agree, the grille doesn't go with the 60s vibe. Just a suggestion.

Nope. Not a new fad. This photo (posted elsewhere on the HAMB by Flatheadhero) is from 1935. Maybe not 60's style, though.

Oh. That hyphen must have thrown me off. The rest of the build does look very 60's to me.

  28. I found that roll of stuff, I'll bring it over when I come by next week... When is the soonest I can pick up the wheeled device for transporting objects behind a truck? If I get that out of the way, I can concentrate on getting the heap fired.

    OMG!!!

I couldn't see the pic until I came home for lunch, that is beautiful! Wanna trade!
