  3. Great thread here guys. It even made me sign up here. If I may suggest...........how about putting some info with these great pics 9 ( Royal shifter especially ). I know most of the cars but, not all.
    yr, place, owner, etc would make a great thread even better.

    Nope. Went to Tacoma. And it's only one of the Nanooks. #2.

    Very early photo of her driving a rail career.
    Husband Jack built the B/D.
    Showed her this at Lebanon Valley during a match
    race with Cruz Pedregon about 5 years ago.
    Ex-hubby Jack was there and she called him over and we had a good talk about those times.

    Thank you so much. Looking at this thread has been awesome. I've always loved the nostalgia look even though these cars were thundering down the track before I was born.

    And just a little for the record. Iceland had it's first drag race in '58 at the Patterson Airfield (occupied by the US Army) and the Quarter Mile Club was officially founded in the early 1970's. The track up here is the first track in Europe that was built for dragracing and not an old airstrip or such.
