Nothing too crazy this week. Just a snowboarding helmet for a friend. He went nuts over it though. That made me feel good. [IMG]

That was awesome. It's cool to watch all the fine tuning that happens. I would've never guessed to have resized the # 5 on the door. Well done!!

Wow! What a great show again this week! FlyingPolock - you mind if I kinda copy your #5 on my coupe - love that roadster!

  25. I was planning on running down the names of all those who's work has left an impression and I've found that not only are we already on pg. 5 but I'm impressed by everyone so far. In fact I'm blown away! I'd like to thank Clysdale for stepping into the mix and FutureElements for the bitchin' video. Dude, that piece is just cool!
The stripers are above the fold...
58Fridge100 I still feel crappy about the art challenge, your rig is relly killer and certainly would have given the winner a run for his money.
Janne, you'll make it and put 'em all to shame.
    Slide, I love your work
    Flyin'P--- Suh-hweeeeet!
...and meteor, that coupe got da POOP! I love it, man!

I finally got a chance to break in my Aztec airbrush. I used it for the first time on a piece of art. Up till now I've only used airbrushes on models but ever since H.S. it has been my goal to use one to 'draw' with. I'll probable use it for backgrounds for a while...
I posted this piece back in '06 when I joined but the background was photoshopped in. The original art was almost ruined by a water spill (water with black paint from a brush that is.) So the flames became a must and so I saved the piece. The scanner doesn't do it justice. Also, I may go over the window w/ the brush to add glass glare and to reduce the detail, maybe...

Very impressive everyone. Throughly enjoyable. Thanks

Totally blew me away. Way cool!

  27. Should be there late Friday afternoon.
    I will see you there.

Look for the guy with the gray beard.

  28. Wow, that Colors playback is wild. How long did it take to draw that? Does the program track progress and basically make the movie for you?

    Thanks,
    Kurt

Thanks a lot. Yes it tracks all your strokes and makes the movie for you. As far as time was concerned I would spend about 15 min here and there every night. So probably about 1hr to 1.5 hrs of time spent drawing it. I am working on another one and I will post it for next weeks artshow. Man I rally appreciate such a positive response. I feel so humbled because there is some great artwork here.
