Calling all Canadians

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by canadianzed, Jan 30, 2008.

  1. I must have missed this thread in its original posting. I live in Barrie, Ontario, about 70 miles directly north of Toronto. Hot rodding is alive and well here, but its winter---everybody is in "build phase" updating their rods to get ready for the spring 2008 season.---Brian

This pretty much sums up my thoughts for the day. The great Canadian pastime of watching the weather.

New Brunswick...home of the Bricklin and Moncton(monkeytown) home of the Total Bore and Magnetic Hill....Oh and a great street rod festival in the summer-Chip Foose is coming this year (if that excites you)

  10. Milton is now home to one of Ontario's better hotrod part shops, Horton Hot Rod Parts. It used to be in Breslau, Ontario, but was sold to a new owner in Milton 3 or 4 years ago. It was an excellent place to do business with when Paul Horton owned it in Breslau, and the new owner Paul Barber is a real nice guy to do business with as well. ---Brian

  30. I've done that! Also had some poutine, skated on the canal, been to a bunch of '67s and Senators games, and rented a Harley for a ride to the Gatineau Hills (August '06) and Merrickville (Sept '07). Hate the snow, like the women... ;)
