    ...Where's Chili Phil? :D

This one is my favorite. I think it's perfect in stance, execution, and concept. Hot rods should be fun.

I took a pic of this car at the 1979 Car Craft Street Machine National's. Last I saw it. Peter Pan of Chicago was a big fan of it, he may have a clue of it's whereabout's.

  10. I have the original front wheels off that car, bought them from the builder a few years ago. This is the only picture I have of the car which Mike (Lost Angel) provided to me, I seen the car rebuilt a few years ago and it was dark green in the Buffalo area.

    Well...

    You know...

Your building one, and then you buy a Partscar, but you still need some Parts.
So you buy another Parts car.
But that one is too nice to Part out, so you turn it into another Project, etc...:D :D

Rod and Kulture featured a few in past issues, all from the Radir Wheels crew. The car club is Dead Man's Curve from New Jersey.

At least something happened with it, too bad it wasn't rebuilt as it was. I was really pissed at myself for missing out on that car. Everyone I know into cars seems to recall Walking Tall but they all think it was a 55, time seems to do that to memory.

I put this 48 together in 68/69. There weren't too many cars running around with straight axles that were driving on the street..............but it wasn't jacked up too much..........just
    the way I like it.
Sure wish I had her back today!!!!!!!!!!

I'm from a small rural town of 500 people. I saw this car in 1977 at age 15 at an ISCA indoor show. It was the first real high quality car I had ever seen in real life and it has influenced me still to this day on what I like i.e. Cragars, tunnel rams and wild 70's style paint
Pictures don't do the paint color justice.

Based upon the popular responses to 1970's street freak threads I think Ryan need a link on this site to a special 70's street freak section.
