    W O W !!!

I was holding my opinion on your plans to 'web it because most of the time it ends up looking tacky, but with the fades and candy, yours came out great. No, fuck great... it's the best webbing I've ever seen! It looks like a slab of cosmic-marble, rather than some cotton candy diaper spatter...

Beautfiul job Alex, and beautiful car KIRK!

Seriously though, very cool, thanks for all the pics. And sorry for the half-assed 'photoshop', I've got a very basic program.

The webs turned out fantastic! Just the right amount of pattern - not too crazy or too subtle - Especially for a first time experiment with doing webs - it couldn't have turned out better.

I bet Alex will be glad when he finally marks that one off the "to do" list. I can't imagine the amount of hours that will be into it by the time it's all slick and shiney.

It's no wonder why that style of paint job went out of style - not because they don't look great, but really, how many people are willing to go through all of that?

p.s have fun color sanding - you probably won't be able to lift your arms by the time it gets to Sac Autorama.

& I still wish you'd have gotten a picture of the look on the lady's face when Alex walked into the fabric store and asked to see her lace.

I'm enjoying your updates mostly because I wasn't even aware this stuff was done. It's a big lesson in learning what I didn't even know existed.

    A question:
What is the lace stuff made out of? Is this some pattern used for some other thing or was it designed to do this? You sticking it on and peeling it off right?

PS: House of Kolor must use the same Chinese translator that writes the assembly sheets for kids toys.

The lace is just lace from the fabric store. It's not adhered to the surface; rather taped around the edges.
