Next time you guys are getting in fights at shows keep it the hell away from my booth I have to many people ( girls) that help me and I am responsible for. Not cool at all

 

How do you know it was Mike and his crew that got into it? Cause I saw the whole thing and the only time I seen Mike there was when he came by to say what's up.

 

We didn't fight at all at the show!! As a matter of fact all I saw was peacefull people with beers, old friends (including you), and cars! I heard about the fight after the fact! And as a matter of fact mark, I came to your booth to check out your calendar and YOU told me about the fight so you are sadly misinformed and I don't appreciate the accusation... especially on a public board for all to see, and you know if you have a problem with me you can just call me or pm me we've known each other for a while and I've never disrespected you or your people have I?

The show was run alot better than last years! They learned alot from it. I was there runnin my hubcapped red '66 Nova on the dragstrip. Damn there were some bitchin cars that came in. Chico did a good job of throwin it. I hope Mooneyes and Irwindale keep it going for a loooong time. There are some more (mostly dragstrip, but hey, some killer cars!) pictures at:

the elky was sweet, but I grew a distaste for it as the day went on. He had it parked canted like he was displaying it in a mall lobby; bragging all day.

I haven't seen any pics at all of my favorite of the day. There was a light blue, roughed-in Zepher with absolutely fantastic lines. The b-pillers alone were to die for. Anyone get a pic?

Oh,little update on that...So,the only 70's car will soon be Mike's Caddy,and Ben's Demon...I'm getting a new secret project,and it's a 59,that's all I'll say for now..My member Henry's got two projects,one's a '48 Suburban,and the other is a 40 Ford pickem'up..Matt with the Dart is getting a '61 something or other..He's being secretive like I am at the moment..By the way,I don't carry weapons,or fight much...Mostly just walk around car shows doing what should be done..Enjoying the cratsmenship and skill that goes into making some great cars,taking down mental notes for ideas...By the way,I heard a rumor about one of my favorite cars supoposedly being there,a 1959 Ford Ranchero..Did anyone get a pic??Never got to see it..

i watched the whole thing go down from start to finish and it was exactly the type of element that bob described. bunch of walkabillies with nothing better to do than mess up each others greasy pomps.
