Mooneyes, SOCAL, you really missed it, cars, girls and sunshine

The weather forecast said rain, but it didnt happen. I got up at 4 am looked outside, saw some stars, the sky was clear, so it was roadster time.
Cold as fuck, 42 degrees (thats cold for Socal boys like us). Met my bros, Munster and Bumpstick at 5 am, and it was off to the Irwingdale speedway.
What a great day it was indeed. The beer was flowing, the cars where awesome and the cops arrested some knuckle head rockabilly guys that where fighting, like it was the West Side Story. Good times.
Many Hambers, showed up. Goozgaz had an afterparty, after the show and it was a blast as usual.

I was there from about 6:30 to 3 it was cool but did not see the fight, I was to busy recording the races.

 

It was a bitchn show, good turnout. Showed about 9:45 and got right in, not like last years fiasco. Ran into FOMOCO Jeff, kool dude. Seen Dreadman's ride in person, outstanding. Seen a bunch of Hamber cars that ripped, and not a damn drop of rain, Damn I love So. Cal.

 

Looks like a damn nice turn out.

I was there also great turn out. I saw the fight! It was with those idiots that had there carclub plaque hanging around there neck! Weak sauce. But great show!!

GOD do I LOVE tin! Oh and engines and chassis and all the nice little mechanical things that go vroom.


But I still hate women.

That rod with the gold metal flake frame was neat. I loved taking pics of it at Paso, the more I looked, the more I saw........but wonder how the flake holds up running down the road?

 

Fuck work....I quit and am moving back to L.A.......................................damn I can't too much shit to move.

it was good- i was there 8-12 the dumb fight by the drags...really grow up goons
some "gang" called the 'stray cats' and some kids...the cops showed up and the held the wrong guy too FTL- so funny
the drags were cool, that t-bucket with the white top- what was wrong with it- never had a good pass
but the yellow mustang- wow what a wheel stand!

 

You two will have to race me there and I have a huge advantage, his place is only two miles from mine.....................................MUWAHAHA.
