50s Ford Drums

    got a 54 ford and I need 3 drums- what other cars have the same size which I can steal, er, borrow? thanks

    49 to 54 or 50 something mercurys and fords. trucks maybe too?

    When I had to get brake parts for my 53, a lot of stuff came back cross referenced with Mavericks and 70s pick-ups...however, if you want to update, you can do the whole Granada spindle and disc brake swap. I wish I could but 54 is the first year this swap is possible. Hope this helps.

    from what i can tell 49-53 passenger car and but 52-54 merc, 55-56 t-bird and 55-56 passenger cars are the same and my book dont have anything for 54, it was the first year for new setup so could be bastard
     
  8. Ford '52-55 Passenger car & Tbird without power brakes
    Lincoln '52-55 w/o PB
    Mercury '52-55 w/o PB

    I have some, but you can find them closer. Try Flat-top Bob/ Owens salvage.
