So my dad has wanted a project car since about 85. That was the last time he had a car to tinker with and it was a dirt track car he raced. For one reason or another he has not been able to get, have, or build one , You know the story bla bla bla . Well about 1 month ago I went and picked up this 49 tudor to start a project with my dad, a project way over due . The best part about the build is we are doing it together , the second best thing is it has alot of my taste going in to it and he likes the way its going . So I am stating this post to keep track of the progress . I know bags are not every ones cup of tea but I love the low look, great ride, and udjustable ride height. The pics are from the day we got it and progress up to today.

Looks way more solid than my 49, cool. My dad and I are both building a car together, and every time we go out into the shop to tinker is so much fun.

Yeah it has been a blast so far, I am 30years old and I wish we would have done this years ago. My son is 6 months old I just hope he is as much a gearhead as I am.

As a proud former passenger of the old stinkin' pinky Lincoln, see if you're dad will let me ride in this one too. :D

they are the same thing just made by different people. the RE joints are cheaper. :D i picked up 8 a few weeks ago for 29 bucks a piece. you can barely get a 3/4" teflon coated chromoly heim for that.

So I had a chance to make the two link mounts earlier this week. Today I welded the mounts and got the rear upper bag support bar welded on.

No joke this is the first car I have taken the body off of besides a vw beetle, and it has made every thing easier.

Yes it will need a pan hard , diagonal link , or a watts link to keep the rear end centered. I will post pics of what ends up working the best for this car . It all depends on where I locate the shocks and antiroll bar (sway bar) on witch one I use.
