I'd go for the 3 inch chop. Nice coupe whether you chop it or not.

If you are 6' 3" I would find one that is chopped and see how you fit in it. I'm 5' 7.5" with a 3" chop on my '31 so I strongly suggest you find one to set in before any cutting.

the "look" is the key element, after the chop then seat base mods and other mods can be done so you fit. having a chopped car has its drawbacks, but its a sacrifice you make for the "look". i am 6' and "just " fit in my coupe ,but i find at times visability in certain situations is limited. one learns to "adjust" though.

    Bomber...
I too will be faced with to chop or not.
I kind of like it un-cut

  14. maybe it's just me, but I think all of the images here could be raised just an inch or two in the rear. I'd have to adjust the stance and then I think the car would tell me to chop her about 4".

If you're gonna go, go BIG.

cruzr's car is chopped 5" im pretty sure, its definitely chopped more than mine.

im 6'2 ish and i fit snugly but you have to remember my car is channeled too.

oh yea and i vote for at least 4" but no more than 5"

Here's my EX...similar to cruzr's.....I chopped it with one thing in mind.....chop it just enough to lose the straight vertical line at the rear of the quarter window...just around five inches

My cohort chopped the top on a 31 coupe about 3 3/8, side windows do not go oblong. Head Room and the back window looks proportional to it's length. work in progress.
